The Microcom DAMS-NT DigiRIT LRIT/HRIT (selectable) Receiver receives the NOAA rebroadcast LRIT (Low Rate Information Transmission) or the HRIT (High Rate Information Transmission) signal, extracts the DCS portion and sends out a DAMS-NT data stream which is compatible with many DDS (DCS Data Service) applications and DRGS (Direct Readout Ground Station) systems.
